To exchange or return an item, here is what you need to know:
You have 03 working days after purchase to exchange or return, unless noted differently in our exceptions. You can return items in-store or via a scheduled pickup from your home. Please provide your in-store receipt or online order number for further assistance.
Returns occur on a case-by-case basis. Refund of the purchase price or replacement of the product will be provided in case of, among others, damaged goods.
Before coming to the store to start the return process, please remember to bring the following:
The item(s) you’d like to exchange or return, including all original packaging and accessories; receipts for those items or order confirmation(s).
Q: What do I do if I don’t have my receipt?
If you do not have your receipt or order number, the store may be able to look up your purchase, if you:
a. Can remember the date of purchase.
b. Items that were also purchased on the same receipt.
We will then try to find it in our purchase history. This may take 1-2 working days.
Q: How do I replace or exchange an item?
For items purchased in-store, bring the item with receipt. Please make sure to have all original packaging and accessories as well. For items purchased online, bring along your confirmation email with you to the store, along with your item for items purchased online.
Items will only be replaced in cases of a factory error or will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Q: How will I be refunded?
If you return an item within the allowable return period with a receipt, the refund will be applied to the original method of payment. If you made the purchase using:
- Cash: you’ll receive a cash refund.
- Credit card: the refund must be issued to the same credit card you used to make the purchase.
- Debit card: the refund will be provided in cash, if your receipt shows “debit tend”
- Gift card: the refund amount will be issued back on the gift card
Q: What do I do if my item is damaged or if it is the wrong one?
If the item was purchased in the store or online, please bring the item and receipt to the store for a return. Depending on the state of the item and when or how it was damaged, the item can be exchanged.
Q: Are there any return exceptions?
Building Depot Suriname reserves the right to warn, limit, or decline returns or exchanges regardless of whether the customer has a receipt. All returns without a receipt are subject to a refund verification process.
